Video Me - Elaine and Stephen - 18'th September 2010 - Great Day

I had the pleasure of doing the wedding of Elaine Healy & Stephen Connolly on Saturday the 18th September 2010.

The wedding started with Elaine and her 2 bridesmaids getting ready both were named Niamh and that started to cause a little confusion ha ha. I was in the house for a few minutes as I had to go to the church in Johnstown Bridge, which was 40 min away Balyna parish. Fr Gerard Breen officiated and it was a lovely friendly and personal mass.

The beautiful music in the church was from  Nikki kavanagh.
Mark Whelan from Kilnamanagh Fotomark done the pics.
When we arrived at The Hamlet Hotel in Johnstown which incidentally was across the road from the church, we were met by John O Neill and his dedicated team who have a way that no other hotel has with there guest’s on your wedding day.
The day weather wise could have been kinder as it really rained just as we came out after the ceremony, it did not dampen there enthusiasm so we had do a lot of the pictures indoors.
After the dinner the band we were entertained by none other than The Usual Suspects and then they had the wonderful Irish dancers from Celtic Rhythm Dancers
And to round off the night Digital djs took them through till the early hours of the morning.
It was great to see Deirdre and Gary who’s wedding we did on the 23’rd July 2010, they had recommended us to Elaine and Stephen.

We all had a lovely day

Yours sincerely

I was out at the wedding of Jennifer & Patrick on Friday last in the Radisson Hotel, the wedding started with Jennifer and her bridesmaid getting ready, Patrick and the best man Paul Coburn were also staying in the hotel so I was able to get a few shots of them and the lads having a Lucozade ha ha….
The car they had was the lovely Silver Rolls Royce Phantom wow what a car, it was spectacular and they certainly arrived in style, check out their website Privilege Limousines and have a look.

The music in the church was just out of this world it sounded just perfect, it was provided by Ingrid Madsen and the pianist was none other then Dave Brown from the band Controversial All Stars.

The Photographer on the day was Pat Baker and his lovely approach had everyone at ease from the time we started.

The weather was not bad it was not looking good in the morning with some rain but it picked up lovely for the photos in the back gardens in the Radisson Hotel, the gardens are just beautiful.

All went perfect and we were treated to a great night of music by the group Lazy Babies not your traditional wedding band but a band that Jennifer & Patrick liked and they were very good and enjoyed by all.

We all had a fabulous day.

Video Me - Monique and Michael - 4'th September 2010 - Fabulous Day

I was out on the wedding of Monique Fahy & Michael Howel on Saturday 4’th September in the lovely church of St Agnes in Crumlin, this is the church were I did my very first wedding in the same month 22 years ago wow…..

The photographer was Thomas Anthony a family Friend, the wedding started at the church with the lads arriving and most of his side were from Cork.

The day was lovely but a little showery but we dodged the showers.
When we arrived at Finnstown House Hotel we were met by Cathy & Jack who make every wedding couple feel special, all went really great and we were finished the pictures by 5.45p.m. and were seated by six as there was a special guest appearance by none other than Keith Fahy (Monique’s cousin) who popped in to say hello after his goal in the recent Irish match in Armenia, they all really appreciated it and it was mentioned in the speeches by the best man, John (brother of the groom) done his brother proud it was one of the best mans speeches I have heard in a long time.
After the dinner we had the longest established and still the number one wedding band around 5'th Avenue took charge of the night.
Monique’s sister Roberta whom we done her wedding back in 2006 recommended us.
We all had a lovely day

Video Me - Vanessa & Kenneth - 6'th September 2010-Great Day

I was at the wedding of Vanessa & Kenneth on Monday 6th September, in the lovely church of St James in Grange just outside Carlingford Co. Louth this is a very quite country picturesque village.
The wedding started with both the Bride & Groom getting ready in the Carlingford Hotel so I was able to cover both of them, some of the lads leaving the hotel and then Vanessa with her 3 bridesmaids and the flower girls.

The day was the worse day we’d had for a long time, it rained all day and was so disappointing with all they lovely scenery we would have been able to use. Andrew Corvin was looking after the pictures and had his work cut out but he got everything and even got soaked in the process but was a true professional.
I myself had to take a different style of shooting due to the weather.

The bad weather on the day didn’t put a dampener on things, the good family and friends all 150 of them had a great time and the crack was mighty, Mr John Matthews banqueting manager from the hotel was on top of everything all through the day and right up to when he knocked off.

We had the wonderful lads from the band Goodfellas and they don’t let up, they have you dancing from start to finish.

We all had a great day despite the rain.

Yours sincerely

Video Me - Margaret and Des - 3'rd September 2010

I was out on the wedding of Margaret & Des on Friday 3’rd September in the K club, it was a civil ceremony and the place was beautifully laid out, the flowers were done by the team at Mad Flowers I also did the owner of that same company’s wedding several years ago.

The music was just out of this world and in the grand room in the K club it sounded just perfect, Wendy Power, Kay Lynch and Deirdre Masterson from the Irish Sopranos.

We had the Registrar who was very nice and made it very easy for us to take pictures through out the short ceremony, the Photographer on the day was PJ Mc McCormack and his lovely wife Mc Cormack imaging Studio

The wedding started with Margaret and her bridesmaid Kay getting ready in the presidential suite and Des making the finer arrangements with Susie Hopkins the wedding event coordinator in the K Club Susie was so well thought of that she received several mentions at the speeches and was also presented with a bouquet of flowers.

The day was the best summers day for a long time the pictures were taken in the lovely gardens in the K Club and we had the reception up in the Arnold Palmer Suite, all went perfect and they had two Latin American dancers from The Carlow Academy of dance and then we the wonderful
Conor Mc Keown who’s band are one of the best around and to top it all we had a powerful Fire Works
display.

We all had a spectacular.
